There are over 3,000 acres of provincially owned land in the City of Burlington, Ontario. The Ontario Realty Corporation, which manages the land on behalf of the provincial government, retained HSAL to conduct a detailed review of the City of Burlington’s Official Plan Amendment and corresponding Zoning By-law Amendment to determine the impact on provincially owned lands. The study also identified potential highest and best uses for provincially owned properties and developed recommended changes to the Official Plan and Zoning By-law to protect current and foreseeable uses.
