Dave Hardy, M.E.S., MCIP, R.P.P.

Dave Hardy is a Registered Professional Planner and a formally trained facilitator. He considers his professional strength as being able to work effectively and with sensitivity to the needs of clients and community stakeholders to achieve their goals.

He has completed more than 125 public consultation and 75 socio-economic impact assessment assignments for a variety of public and private clients, and has conducted multi-stakeholder consultation and mediation in numerous sectors. He has participated in 60 environmental assessment studies, facilitated over 1,500 public meetings and workshops, and has worked across Canada.

Dave has also provided expert testimony on socio-economic impact assessment, public consultation, land-use and environmental planning before the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Environmental Assessment Board, the Ontario Municipal Board (now TLAB), and the Ontario Energy Board.

He is the Executive Director for the Institute of New Suburbanism.
